Retractable Shade Canopy for Tre Ciccio Restaurant, Ramsbottom
This was quite a unique project, as this fabulous Italian restaurant didn’t actually have any outdoor space to develop! In spite of this, al fresco dining was integral to the owner’s vision for the future of the business.
The solution in this case was:
- To create an extension that satisfied local planners whilst enabling the area to be an ‘outside inside’ space.
- This was achieved by inserting a retractable roof into the fabric of the main building.
- The solid, fully covered structure turns into a magnificent open-air terrace on warmer days. All at the touch of a button.
- The spectacular theatre and ambience of the first-floor restaurant guaranteed a regular flow of customers that keep returning.
