Outdoor seating areas have always been a key feature at Foxton Locks Inn, one of Loca Shading Designs’ longest-standing customers. As a result of the stunning canalside location, outdoor dining is very popular – as long as the sun is shining! Consequently, the latest project here was to maximise the space, ensuring that the location could be fully appreciated year-round.
- A sizeable retractable roof structure was created, featuring extended height at the front.
- The design offers uninterrupted views as well as a huge amount of natural light, even when the structure is closed.
- The area is finished with beautiful Karndean wood effect synthetic flooring which seamlessly carries through to the main pub.
- An additional feature is innovative underfloor heating, running off a heat source pump.
